Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse

ALL COACHES, MANAGERS, and ADULT VOLUNTEERS MUST complete annual SAFESPORT training. Your actions can help create a safe environment for young athletes so that they can stay healthy, active, and thrive - both on and off the playing field

.

The U.S. Center for SafeSport is an independent nonprofit committed to ending all forms of abuse in sport. This includes bullying, harassment, hazing, physical abuse, emotional abuse, and sexual misconduct and abuse. Our coaches are mandatory reporters and the online SAFESPORT training will help identify the abusive behaviors that must be reported to protect our players. There is no cost for this training when you follow these instructions. To learn more: www.safesporttrained.org

With a goal of safeguarding our players, CJSA is not unique in requiring all adults interfacing with youth to complete this mandatory training, you may have already been required to complete with other youth sports or town programs. If you have already taken the training, you do not need to take again.

SAFESPORT provides certificates of completion on successful which will be needed to be confirmed as a coach.

Complete the training below, but also review the documents and information on our Law and Documents page here:
