Coach Pecheone has a United Soccer Federation "D" coaching license. Matt played Division II soccer for Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York. After college, Matt played semi-professional soccer in both the Premier Arena Soccer League for CNY United as well as the USL player Development League for both the Ottawa Fury and the Albany Admirals.

Coach Pecheone was the Associate Head coach for the Men's teams at both Emmanuel College and Assumption College in Massachusetts. He was also the Assistant Coach for the State University of New York, College of Technology Men's Team. Coach Pecheone then became an Academy Senior Staff Member for the New England Revolution professional soccer club in the MLS. Matt assisted with the operation and training of a number of town clubs in the Greater Boston area, similar to the Glastonbury Hartwell Soccer Club. Matt lead training sessions within the Revolution's Regional Development School (RDS) program with the goal of training and scouting players for the professional youth teams. Matt was also the Assistant Director of the Revolution's commercial partner, Hopkinton Youth Soccer. In Hopkinton, Matt was responsible for coaching multiple teams and various training sessions of all age groups while helping to manage the development and growth of the players and the program as a whole. Coach Pecheone is very excited to be a part of developing players and helping to build our program to be the leader in town youth soccer in Connecticut. Matt comes to Glastonbury with a wealth of knowledge about the player pathway and how to strengthen a program for both the Recreation level and the Travel level. Matt's passion for soccer will create excitement for the entire Glastonbury Hartwell community. We are thrilled to have Coach Pecheone join Hartwell and the Glastonbury community.
